Welcome to the Wonderhood Grand Hotel. Every day there is something special happening here, and now kids can build, design, and dream up stories in their own unique Grand Hotel. Meet Chelsea, an aspiring Architect, and her brother, Erik, who go on adventures together. This deluxe creative building set features 24 beautifully illustrated plastic panels that clip together using easy-to-use, durable plastic connectors. The dual-sided panels are waterproof, scratch-resistant, and spark the imagination with richly detailed scenes of lobby spaces, rooms, cafes, and even poolside fun. The open-ended design allows kids to create whatever structure they can dream up—the possibilities are endless. Wonderhood Grand Hotel comes with accessories such as a staircase, clock tower, and super cool working elevator system operated by a pulley and crank. Kids can read stories and solve design challenges with their very own Activity Journal. The set also includes 3D figurines of Chelsea and Erik so kids can play out their Wonderhood adventures in the hotel of their dreams. Wonderhood toys have exceptional educational and play value because they engage children on multiple levels. They foster creativity, develop hands-on problem solving, and spatial and fine motor skills. They teach real STEM concepts of architectural design and structural engineering. Finally, they promote self-confidence and feature positive female role models that are important for children of all genders to see. About Us Wonderhood is a women-owned company founded by Andrea Wenner Hollander and Solange Schipani, longtime friends who met at Columbia Business School, and fellow “Moms on a Mission.” Inspired by their daughters, they set out to create a new kind of toy to empower girls to be the architects of their own futures. The designers believe children should have toys that go beyond stereotypes—toys that are fun, creative, encourage them to dream big, and also teach them important skills for the future, especially in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM). So they tossed aside traditional notions and created a brand new vision: Wonderhood toys engage both creative and scientific sides. They believe that everyone benefits and everyone can have fun with Wonderhood; girls, boys, and grown-ups.
